When I heard the first lines in this piece by Franny Choi I thought it was going to be a candy coated bit of fluff but it stayed with me, especially the thought of those nine. Bright and chilling all at once. What do we ask of our celebrities? It's John Lennon's birthday today, probably a good day to contemplate that question.
