The Passing Of A Legend
Yes, I know I just posted but then I read this and my heart broke a little. Americans are weird about traditions like this. If we can't do it big we generally don't do it at all but this one was sweet and small and always a little magic. I posted about it back in June when the first pictures of John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe surfaced and talked about the speculation that it was over but it wasn't until today that the Poe House and Museum officially called time on it. Jackie Paper really did come no more and a little bit of my childhood really is over. It was beautiful while it lasted.
