So the Super Bowl was last night and hands down my favorite commercial was the Hyundai one at the very beginning of the game. I am a SUCKER for anything that involves "Gonna Fly Now," the theme from Rocky. Dude, you have no idea. Have I mentioned that it's my favorite movie theme of all time? How can you resist a guy working his heart out to get his block knocked off just to prove he's worthy of getting his block knocked off, and egged on by a horn section like that?
Anyway, the Hyundai commercial, an acapella version that starts in a cubicle farm.
This was another Super Bowl ad from 2008. I love Budweiser commercials, too.
There's really no substitute for the original, though, at least for me. I think I'll skip the coffee this morning and run up the library steps. Anyone wanna join me?
