A Month of Sundays, Monday April 30th: The End

Do something later, if you're curious.  Google "shake the dust" and see what comes up.  Between flickr and tumblr you should come up with a couple of pages of tattoos of just that line and there's more on Facebook.  There's some gorgeous ink there but more than that there's a lot of respect and affection for the poet who wrote that line, Anis Mojgani.  Again and again you'll read that his words changed someone's life or lit someone up.  This poem, "Shake the Dust," is the reason.  This performance was from a benefit for To Write Love On Her Arms in 2010.  I can't think of a better way to end National Poetry Month than listening to the piece that made me fall in love with poetry all over again.  Thanks, Anis.
