A Month of Sundays, Sunday April 15th

*Skids in like Kramer, hits an end table and cringes as a vase wobbles.  Breathes sigh of relief when it stops*

Am I late?  I'm late but it's STILL April 15th where I'm standing.  Ah, April 15th, income tax day in the US.  I couldn't find any good poetry about taxes so we're going with that other certainty in life, death.  To sweeten it a little we're going to throw in Stephen Fry, some Dwarves, an Oscar winning former elf and a bunch of other people.  You know what I'm talking about, right?  Well, some of you do.  How can we celebrate poetry without Shakespeare?  I can't.  My high school Shakespeare teacher, Mr. K, would haunt me.  Hopefully wherever he is the powder blue leisure suit passed the dress code.  Anyway, enjoy!

*Turns to go, knocks vase off end table.  Goes to find broom.*

  3. I've always wondered myself who would fardels bear. A burning question. I also love that there are women in this.

    1. So do I. And I kept hearing "fardels bear" as "Bartleby" which is just wrong.

    2. One thing I liked about this edition of it was that the way they integrated that line, they more or less admitted that the line just sounds funny now. The more I watched this, the more things i found to like about it. Starting with Stephen Fry in a tone of resignation was masterful.
