A Month of Sundays, Tuesday April 24th

One of the primary outlets for slam poetry in the US has been Def Poetry Jam which ran on HBO from 2002 to 2007 (it was also a Broadway show and won a Tony in 2003).  The following year HBO debuted Brave New Voices, the finals of the Brave New Voices slam championship.  We've heard some of these voices in the last few weeks (Taylor Mali and Anis Mojgani, among others) but here a couple more.  A few.  Not Safe For Work.
