Road Trip! The Bay State, Part 2: Boston

This is mostly a spam post because, well, have you seen who's from Boston? In no particular order, but let's start with the obvious one.

Boston -- "More Than A Feeling"

The Cars --  "Let's Go!" I love this band.  Like a LOT.  Kurbiss does, too, so this one's for her.

The Juliana Hatfield Three -- "Spin the Bottle" from the Reality Bites soundtrack.

James Taylor -- "Fire and Rain"

Bobby Brown -- "My Perogative"

Chick Corea -- with his Akoustic Band, "Round Midnight"

The G-Clefs --" 'Cause You're Mine"

And...Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops -- "Stars and Stripes Forever."  If the U.S. had an official orchestra, it would be this one.

Okay, tomorrow we're headed to Connecticut so rest up and I'll see you then.  Have a great night.

  1. Wow, thanks for the link. I also loved "More than a Feeling" and "That's My Prerogative," and played a lot of Chick Corea arrangements in high school jazz band (maybe a Chick Corea version of "Song for My FAther"?) and James Taylor is on my constant playlist. Guess I'd fit in in Boston! Hope you enjoy CT.

  2. As a former Bostonian, I really appreciate all the good musicians from that state. Glad you didn't leave out the Boston Pops!
