The World's A Big Blue Marble When You See It From Out There

Thank you, Mr. Armstrong, for making our world a little smaller.

  1. It's still awe inspiring to see this footage some 43 years later. It's hard to believe that a lifetime ago, our world changed forever.

I tweeted this "last" night: Pioneer Neil Armstrong made real what had only been a vision of possibilities. So fair traveler, “Go then, there are other worlds than these.” Stephen King

  2. Feel like I'm on the cusp with this. I was 5 mos. old when this happened. My memories all have to do with reading about it in Language Arts in school in the 1970s. My FB feed is filled with older friends rhapsodizing and younger friends who aren't even mentioning it.

    1. I get what you mean as I'm only a few months older than you. My brother is older than me, though, and he was fascinated by it: astronaut Halloween costume, moon landing pop up books, etc.
