Soundgarden released their first full-length album, King Animal, in sixteen years today. Hobbit Schmobbit, check that again.
Sixteen years.
I can remember where I was (the corner of 85th and Aurora Ave N in Seattle, on the Phinney Ridge side) and what I was doing (having coffee with my friend Linda) when 107.7 The End announced they'd disbanded in 1997. I heart Audioslave, too, but it just wasn't the same.

ReplyDeleteSquee!!!! I really need to get this album. I like Audioslave. And I love Chris Cornell's solo albums--or at least the first one. But Soundgarden reunited is definitely something to get excited over.
