We Gonna Turn This Mother Out: See Ya Later 2013

I'm being indulged once again with actual computer access so I'm going to make the most of it while I have it to wish you all a happy, safe and funky New Year. A couple of weeks ago I said that I'd spam you all with my Twitter playlist from the Hobbit premiere in LA but I'm limiting myself to two since it's a twofer Tuesday and these are related. Shake your butt, shake the dust and dance a little bit!

The first is one I didn't actually get around to playing but mentioned and is one of my all time favorite grooves. How can you not love Digital Underground?

The way that groove is related to this one is Mr. Hump himself who did a stint in one of the many many many incarnations of George Clinton's Parliament Funkadelic, most notably at Woodstock 1999. Tear the roof off the sucker? Don't mind if I do.

Whatever you're doing, be safe and sane and, if you need to, call a cab or a friend because we're counting on all you funky people to SpReAd The Love in 2014. Have a great night!

    1. If more people let themselves go and funked it up every now and again the world would be a better place. :) Happy New Year, Joanna!
