It Is To Laugh

In case you've missed it, I'm a middle-aged mom. Yes, I bred and yes, it scares me, too, sometimes but my husband has really good genes so with any luck his are the dominant ones. Being a middle-aged mom I have a typically mom idea of how to deal with boredom which is that I ROY G BIV my hoodies (if you've ever worked retail you know exactly what that means), a standard-issue part of the middle-aged mom uniform. You know the one I mean: hoodie, tee, jeans, Keds. In the spring we switch it up and it becomes hoodie, tee, CAPRIS, Keds. We're all for variety here in the dandelion patch.

Anyway, I'm always interested in how other people deal with their boredom and a friend of mine posted this on Facebook a couple of weeks ago (it's actually a few years old but, hey, who's counting?). I don't know what might have inspired this but I'm so glad something did. Have a great Friday and remember to let Obscura or I know of any kindnesses that you've done or that have been done for you so we can get a head start on maxing out our second co-conspirator for March and April. We reached our goal for Jan/Feb a few days ago as you can read at AncientArmitage so give yourselves all a pat on the back and let's have some Santana to celebrate...sort of.

  1. I usually find something to read and then I forget I was bored. But if that didn't work, that vid would definitely be something I'd consult!

  2. LOL! Have I mentioned that I went to a Halloween party during my college years as Oliver Hardy one time? No padding required. Ha! And a friend was my Stan Laurel.

    1. Lol, Grati! The best college Halloween costume I ever wore was the time I wore a slip with a name tag that said "Freud." ;)
