Richard Armitage Isn't Busy Enough

You know I'm kidding when I say that, right? While I wouldn't blame boyfriend if he took a reeeally long vacation after the last of The Hobbit press tour and premiere cycle coming up this winter something came up in my Facebook feed today that made me think of him and wish upon a star...

Jennifer Lee, the director of Frozen, is adapting Madeline L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time for Disney according to Variety. If you're saying to yourself right now, "Self, didn't Disney already do A Wrinkle in Time?" the answer is yes and you can find out about the live-action 2003 version here.

So, another live action or an animated movie? If I had a vote I'd say animated because that means voice work and we can't seem to get enough of Armitage's voice. What do you all think? Frozen, of course, is a total monster hit and has inspired some hilarious fanmade videos, including this one. Okay, I think it's funny. You all have a good day.

  1. Great RA voicework suggestion! And he will know that he has hit the big time when he is the voice of a beloved animated movie character.

  2. You know how I feel about this novel -- but what character would he play? Mr. Murry? IT?

    1. I do know. I think he'd be fabulous as IT, don't you?

  3. I would LOVE to see him do movie voice work! Now that he is more visible in that particular arena because of Hamlet, Disney and other animators would be nuts not to grab those chocolate cords :) I do hope he gets to rest his voice just a little after the stress of the play though.....

  4. Definitely animated. He's said how much he enjoys doing voice work. And we certainly revel in the fruits of his labor. :) BTW, you're not the only one to think the video is funny. Hubby LOL'd throughout.

    1. It's just so goofy...who would have ever thought of running lyrics through four or five levels of Google Translate?
